The importance of the preparation, set & setting, and integration
Preparation involves setting intentions, creating a comfortable setting, and addressing any concerns or fears. Set refers to the client’s mindset, emotions, and expectations. Integration involves reflecting on the experience, applying insights to daily life, and making lasting changes.
09
The preparation and integration work required of the participant
Participants are encouraged to engage in self-reflection, set clear intentions, and follow guidelines for a safe and supportive experience. Integration work may include journaling, therapy, meditation, and other practices to integrate the insights gained.
10
The ways in which we protect someone’s privacy
Client confidentiality is a top priority. Information shared during sessions is kept confidential and only shared with consent or as required by law. We ensure privacy and respect boundaries to create a safe and trusting environment.
11
How it’s different from a group session
Psilocybin-assisted therapy is typically conducted in individual sessions to provide personalized support and focus on the client’s unique needs and experiences. Group sessions may lack individual attention and tailored guidance.
12
How it’s different from a coaching session without psilocybin
Psilocybin-assisted therapy involves the use of a psychedelic substance to facilitate deep healing and transformation. It goes beyond traditional talk therapy or coaching by accessing the subconscious mind and facilitating profound experiences of self-discovery and growth.
13
How it’s different from other psychedelic substances such as MDMA, LSD, etc.
Each psychedelic substance has unique effects, mechanisms of action, and therapeutic potentials. Psilocybin is known for its introspective and visionary experiences, while MDMA is often used for emotional healing and connection. LSD may produce more intense visuals and cognitive effects.
14
Discuss goals and intentions from the pre-screening questionnaire: How do you approach the topics?
Clients are encouraged to share their goals, intentions, and expectations for the session through a pre-screening questionnaire. These topics are addressed during the initial consultation to tailor the experience to the client’s needs and ensure a positive outcome.
